A flavorful twist on a classic dessert, combining the essence of apple pie with the lightness of rice paper rolls.

  • 1 cup apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 rice paper wrappers
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Soak each rice paper wrapper in warm water until soft, then lay it flat on a clean surface.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  5. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  6. Brush the rolls with melted butter and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
