A vibrant, gluten-free dip combining creamy avocados and tangy tomatillos, perfect for parties or as a topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup tomatillos, husked and chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped tomatillos, red onion, and jalapeños in a mixing bowl.
  2. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados and add it to the bowl.
  3. Add chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
  4. Mash the mixture gently with a fork until you achieve your desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
