Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the applesauce and honey to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts if using.
