Almond Flour Chocolate Cookies

Deliciously moist and chewy cookies made with almond flour, cocoa powder, and natural sweeteners for a guilt-free indulgence.

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted) or butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil (or butter), honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious almond flour chocolate cookies!

Notes

For reduced sugar content, consider using sugar substitutes like stevia, monk fruit, or allulose.
