Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Sprinkle of parmesan cheese or fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Cut each potato into evenly sized wedges (about 8 per potato).
  3. Place the potato wedges in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for 15 minutes to remove excess starch and ensure crispiness.
  4. Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Toss them in a mixing bowl with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  9. Check the wedges. If you want them crispier, cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  10. Remove the wedges from the air fryer and garnish with parmesan cheese or fresh parsley if desired.
  11. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
